The Department of Economic Promotion organizes on November 4 at the Miramar-Centre Cultural this initiative that aims to become a meeting place for screenwriters, filmmakers and audiovisual professionals to share real experiences of the trade. Registration is free and can be done through the contest’s website.
The professional day of screenwriters Endimaris Script Lab is once again held within the LGTBIQ+ Endimaris Film Festival, with the aim of promoting an open and participatory meeting between emerging and consolidated screenwriters. This third edition will be held on November 4 from 10 am at the Miramar-Centre Cultural. The Department of Economic Promotion, organizer of the activity together with the Festival, wants in this way to promote a space to exchange knowledge, contacts and practical tools about the scriptwriter profession.
Entrepreneurs interested in the world of creating film scripts will be able to attend free of charge the master classes given by recognized professionals in the industry. In them, they will explain everything that is not taught in film or script schools, such as, for example, how one begins, how one fails, how one sells a project or how one maintains its own voice within an industrial system. At the same time, this meeting also aims to serve as a networking space to learn new stories and become access to new incorporations into the labor market.
The day will begin with the welcome and opening session by the filmmakers Jaume Claret Muxart and Meritxell Colell. At 11:15 am it will be the turn of the screenwriters Gemma Blasco and Eva Pauné, who will lead the session “The Fury: writing from chaos, the body and collectivity”. La Fúria is a film directed by Blasco and written by herself and Pauné. The meeting will end with the talk “Mariliendre: escriure des de les entranyes queer”, which will be given by the scriptwriter and director Javier Ferreiro at 12:45 p.m.
Registrations are free and can be made through the Endimaris website, at this link.
Endimaris Script Lab
With the aim of continuing the drive to place Sitges as a benchmark in the audiovisual production industry from different areas, the Department of Economic Promotion, in collaboration with Endimaris, organized in 2022 the first edition of a day dedicated to the writing profession. For the same purpose, the third edition of the Endimaris Script Lab is organized.
This initiative complements the Fantastic Film Festival and other actions around audiovisual production such as the Producers Meet Producers (PMP) program that puts emerging producers in contact with consolidated producers.

Our team is here to help you at every step of the process.
